Ingredients:
1 small Banana Flower (long pieces).
1 Cup of mix powder (Gram flour, Rice Flour, Semolina).
1 to 2 tsp Grated coconut (completely optional).
½ tsp Black cumin seed.
1 tsp Turmeric powder.
1 tsp Cumin powder.
½ tsp Red Chilli powder.
1 tsp Lemon juice (totally optional).
½ tsp Salt.
1/3 Cup of plain water.
Pinch of Hing (Asafoetida).
4 to 5 tbsp Oil (Mustard oil or Sesame oil).
Method:
Step 1:
First of all Cut the small Banana Flower to long pieces or just cut it to any shape as your choice.
Then wash them very well.
Next take sauce pan with 500 ml of Water.
Add 2 pinch of Salt to the water.
Then boil these Banana flower pieces very well until it turns to soft.
Then drain the water from those Banana flowers and keep aside these pieces of flower.
Step 2:
Take a Bowl and put the Flour mix powder
Then add Black Cumin seeds to the mix powder.
Next add grated coconut.
And then add all the Spices (Cumin powder, Chilli powder and Turmeric powder).
Then add the Lemon juice to the mixture and add salt to the mixture.
After that add water to the mixture and mix it properly till no lumps.
Step 3:
Now add the banana flower pieces to the batter and mix it properly.
Then take a frying pan on the stove.
Put some oil on the pan and heat it.
Then add Pinch of Hing to the oil.
Next put the Banana flower pieces to the oil.
Fry them well to the both side till turns to golden brown color.
